Book Review Presentations Day 2

Today was the second day for book review presentations and I think they went just as well as the first day we did them. I enjoyed hearing about more of the books people read for the third quarter and listening to their opinions on them. Specifically, I enjoyed hearing about Seobeen’s book for it reminded me of a book I had read and enjoyed in the 9th grade. It was cool to hear how she related to the characters in the book and was familiar with the world that the book was set in. Also, I thought it was cool to hear about Colby’s book, Seabiscuit, because I had always heard the title and a little bit about it but never really knew the smaller details that makes the book interesting. Just like his book, mine also included boring details at times but I think at some point everyone will view a part of any book to be not as interesting as the rest.

I also agree with you about Seobeen’s book. I feel like those certain books that you can relate to just have an overall different effect. Colby’s book talk was also very informative and it was really interesting how he used the fact that Iolani has Seabiscuit’s horseshoe. I always wonder when boring becomes too boring to read.
