I would rather have ten dollars appear every time I snap my fingers than receive one million dollars right this second. If I snap every really fast, the amount of money that I would get would be so much greater than one million dollars. Not only will I get a significantly greater amount of money, but also, if a friend is ever in need of borrowing money, I could just snap my fingers and money would appear right that second. This is cool because I could seem really cool and mysterious and they would be like, “Woah! That’s so cool!” and wish for powers similar to mine. Being able to snap and have money appear would enable me to have infinite amounts of money despite the small portions that they are divided into. So for those reasons, I confidently choose to snap and manifest ten dollars.

I chose CNF because I knew that I needed to improve my essay writing skills and that this class would be efficient in improving those skills. Also, I’ve heard that we focus on writing essays for college applications and I thought that having class time to focus on those would be beneficial for me. I find it fairly difficult to focus on things entirely when they aren’t due in a class or supposed to be turned in the next day. College is a pretty scary thing coming up for all of us and having an extra push to get prepared in advance feels pretty good. I hope to gain skills in paper writing as well as organizing papers.

I am doing pretty well in this quarantine so far. Despite being able to sleep in and have a lot of freedom when it comes to how I use my time throughout the day, I would definitely rather be back at school right now. I miss seeing my friends everyday and not having to worry about communicating with all of my classes and staying on top of things differently. I hope that things return back to normal very soon because it’s pretty annoying having to stay in my house all the time. Right now, I’m not significantly frightened by the situation because my family is following pretty much all of the rules and as long as everyone who is sick stays at home, I think everything will be okay. When school and our everyday lives return to normal, I think it still might be weird for my parents to let me hang out with my friends and go out just because they can be pretty paranoid at times, but I don’t blame them. Overall, I’m doing pretty good right now.

I would rather be the funniest person in a room because then it would be easier to relate to people and to make new friends. If I was always making people laugh, then I would always be having a good time while making others have a good time too. Also, if I was the funniest person in a room, then I would feel pretty superior probably because knowing that you’re the funniest person somewhere is pretty cool haha. I would not want to be the smartest person in a room because then I would probably come across as really stuck-up in some situations (in a school setting) although most of the time this isn’t the case. Also, if I was the smartest person in the room, then I would probably automatically think everyone was lesser than me just because of all the things I know and I wouldn’t want to have that perspective.

Today is Monday and nothing is really new for the most part. This weekend I watched the school play and hung out with some of my friends to celebrate a birthday. I’ve really been enjoying my free choice book for this quarter so far because of it’s unexpected plot as well as interesting details. Also, I’ve recently just started to go up on pointe for ballet which is very nerve-racking but also fun. It’s already difficult at the start and I already know it will keep getting harder and harder but all I hope for is to have fun and not get hurt. On the other hand, recently I’ve also been driving to and from school with my twin sister. I am too sleep in the mornings so she drives to school in the morning and I drive back home after our practices in the afternoon. We share a pretty big green pathfinder which I have found to love despite it’s faulty air conditioner controls and weird ignition at times. Also, something weird about it is that the previous owner made the fog lights pink and we’re not very sure how to fix it so now we’re always driving with pink headlights. I also gave up all junk foods and deserts for lent which is pretty difficult but mostly the dessert part. Also this weekend, me and sister went to a farmer’s market and bought banana peanut butter which I love to eat with apples.

I would rather be a normal citizen in a utopian society because everything in society is already perfect. Also, although I have the choice to be the supreme leader of a dystopian society, all of the lives of the people would depend on my actions. Despite how much power this gives me, I, personally, would rather be a citizen living in a place that is already a perfect. Everything will go as planned and I wouldn’t have to worry about anything regarding the organization of society.

I would rather be invisible because then I could sneak into airports/go onto airplanes or people’s helicopters without them seeing me and it’s like I’m technically flying for free. Although flying does feel very cool and fun, if I was invisible I would be able to do a lot of things that I normally wouldn’t. For example, I could spy on people if I think something strange is going on or if I’m in danger I could just hide using my invisibility. Also, this would make for a very long and interesting game of hide and seek. Adding on to that, if I was invisible I could sleep in public wherever I want because no one would see me.

I would rather choose to announce myself every time I enter a room because it doesn’t require space to complete and it would only be for a short second. If I had to cartwheel through every doorway, most of the times I would probably be carrying things which means I would have to set them down and make sure there’s enough room. Announcing yourself before entering a room is pretty hilarious and I think people find it funnier than someone obnoxiously cartwheeling out of a room.

When I was little, I got in trouble after I stuck a bead up my nose and couldn’t take it out. During one of my family gatherings during the holidays, I didn’t have any cousins my age that I could play with so I got bored. My solution to my boredom was crouching behind the couch and hiding from my family. For some reason, there was a box of beads nearby (probably for bracelet making or something) and I decided to see how many beads I could fit into my nose. As soon as I started to try, I discovered that the bead was not easy to come out of my nose and I knew that this wasn’t good. After my mom found out, I think we had to go to an Urgent Care or something nearby to get it out and she yelled at me for a good ten minutes or so on why I shouldn’t do things I know I’m not supposed to do. Also, for the rest of the family gatherings, I had to sit with my parents instead of playing with my siblings. The punishment for this was justified because I was old enough to know that I wasn’t supposed to be doing that.
